Greetings, fellow twenty-somethings! If you’re like me and most
young people our age, your schedule is jam packed and typically pretty spontaneous. Fast food is a general ‘no-no’ for healthy living but, sometimes you need a quick meal to go. Fast food should be mostly avoided however, for those days when fast food can’t be avoided here’s a cheat sheet so you can still eat healthy on the go. Every menu item has less than 500 calories and is low on saturated fat.
McDonalds:
Premium Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken & Low Fat Balsamic Vinaigrette + Fruit N’ Yogurt Parfait
Grilled Honey Mustard Snack Wrap & Small French Fries
Premium grilled chicken classic sandwich
Subway:
Six-Inch turkey breast sandwich on nine-grain wheat bread

Grilled chicken drumsticks, green beans, mashed potatoes, unsweetened iced tea

Whopper Jr. w/ Garden side salad

Chipotle’:
3 Barbacoa (braised beef) Tacos on soft corn tortillas with lettuce and tomato salsa
Vegetarian Burrito Bowl with brown rice, black beans, fajita vegetables, lettuce, and roasted chili-corn salsa
