Vaseline Is The Gift That Keeps On Giving

photo (25)Vaseline is possibly one of the most underrated beauty products in the land of cosmetics. When women visit their local drug stores for make –up, they usually aren’t thinking, “ooo let me go grab a nice tub of Vaseline.” However, here’s why they should. Vaseline is not just a moisturizing skin protectant. It can be used in a number of ways, the first being as a lipstick.

Find an eye shadow in a color that you wouldn’t mind wearing on your lips. Then, mix it into a small tube of Vaseline. The mixture will produce a creamy balm that will add color and moisture to your lips.

A similar method could also be used to make a blush. For that, instead of eye shadow, find a lipstick that you think would look nice on your cheeks. Mix some of the lipstick into the tube of Vaseline and it will it will turn into a lightweight cream blush that you can apply to your face whenever you do your make-up.

Use Vaseline also as an eye makeup remover. When using mascara or eyeliner, it can often be difficult to remove at the end of the day. However, if you put a little bit of Vaseline on a q-tip and glide it along your eye-line, the liner and mascara will come right off.

If you are trying to grow thicker eyelashes and eyebrows, Vaseline can help you with that as well. At night before bed rub a little along your eyebrows and eyelashes. After a few weeks of doing this, there will be a noticeable difference in the thickness of them.

With all of these ways to use Vaseline, why would you ever want to live without it? It’s convenient, useful, and probably the most inexpensive beauty product you will ever buy.
