During the NBA off-season, a lot of teams took major acquisitions and losses. Some of the most known deals are the Miami Heat, Los Angeles Lakers, and the Atlanta Hawks.

This Sunday will be the first chance to see two of these teams and their altered teams in action. The Atlanta Hawks will have their first preseason game against the Miami Heat led by Lebron James and Dwayne Wade. It is unknown how much playing time Lebron and Wade will get but with most of the bench with exciting capabilities, it is almost as exciting to watch. With the addition of the Boston Celtics former all star Ray Allen, the Heat are building a strong resume as to why they should be back to back champions.

The Hawks made some serious off-season decisions as well and have basically traded in all their players for a new batch. Will the lack of a known superstar in Atlanta be the downfall of the team, or will a player rise through the ranks to carry the burden of having a team “on his back”. Sunday, we will see if the new units of both of these teams will mesh properly and if you are an Atlanta fan this will be a preview of what to expect in this season.
