Two-9: The Takeover

If you’ve been sleeping on hip-hop collective Two-9, it’s about time you woke up. The collective has been taking over the country city-by-city from opening up for rapper Cam’ron in New York to their most recent performance in the Atlanta University Center for LudaDay Weekend. With the release of their latest mixtape Two-9 Forever, the ensemble is a force to be reckoned with. Singles such as DooRag, Scottie 2 Hottie, and Stayin’ True all bring something different to the plate when it comes to Atlanta music. The group includes a well-perfected list of producers such as Wavy Wallace, Key! and Ceej of Retro Su$hi who are also talented enough to lay verses on their songs. Other artists in the group include Curtis Williams, Damien, TheCoolisMac, Money Makin Nique, Retro Su$hi, a duo consisting of rappers Ceej and Jace, and FatKidsBrotha, another duo made up of rappers Jesus Munchies and Dave. With the promotion of their mixtape through their performances and music videos, Two-9 can not only be deemed as unstoppable, but also invincible. In Two-9’s latest visuals, Retro Su$hi and Key! team up for their single Stayin’ True, which just dropped on Tuesday.
